Park Hall is feeling crazy at Park Hall.

Firstly.... sorry we've been absent for sometime, the summer is always crazy and we had planned a very exciting refurb for September.

Unfortunately the weather hit us badly that exact week for our outside refurbishment, which meant putting it on hold.

Two weeks later we had the option to kick our project off again, however our gut was yelling it didn't seem right at this moment in time, so we postponed this work until spring next year. Roll on four weeks later, we found out the work would have never happened - due to illness, it's been such a rollercoaster full of disappointment, plus worrying about people we care about.

We have decided to do a couple of small projects: replace all the furniture on the top floor in bedrooms 6 and 7 and replace the bathroom in bedroom 6.

We have never felt so confused about what to do regarding refurbishing before, which is why we've chosen to fix some low hanging fruits, some of them have been on our list since 2018, but weren't important at that moment in time.

We always want our guests to know we are constantly working on Park Hall so they have the best experience, this is why we took on Park Hall and will always be our main priority.

So for all our guests, past, present and future we are always thinking of you, the feedback you give us and what we can do to give you all the best stay with us.

What's happening this week? Around all these beautiful sunny days we received part of the new garden furniture for Park Hall! These sorts of things we get excited about, believe it or not! 😂😂😂
What's so special about this set I hear you cry? Even though it looks like wood it's actually 100% recycled plastic! Making this a VERY GREEN 🌳💚 choice. It's takes at least 6,244 bottles just to make the table - it weighs more than I do! 🤣🤣🤣
We purchased the current wooden set 6 years ago and after 6 years or sea salt and storms they aren't in the best shape at all. 💚
Due to the cost of the sets it'll take until next year to replace all the furniture plus, due to the sheer weight of them, we'll have to create a patio area where they can stay throughout the year. 💚
Alongside them having a 25 year warranty they compliment our Green values and shows our commitment to Green Tourism. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 @greentourism

Did we mention we are dog friendly? 😂🤣🤣 We know we have a zillion times.

What we want to share with you is an amusing story which happened last week. We have great places here where you can walk your dogs, our beach is dog friendly all year around, plus the coast path in each direction so it's a dog's haven. 🐶🐾

We walk Harry everyday, a nice 7km walk, gives me the time to reset myself for the day ahead. Our walk starts with Cardiac Hill, yes you heard that right - the locals call the hill opposite Park Hall - Cardiac Hill (for a very good reason).🐾⛰🐾⛰🐾⛰

Once we start walking Cardiac Hill (it doesn't have a road name), I try and think about the junk in my head which I need to sort out (definitely not think about the hill Infront of me), and hopefully by the time I've finished processing everything I need to the Hill is behind me. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🐾
On this particular morning, as I rounded the corner on the worst part of the hill, I locked eyes with a beautiful "Cat". Three things ran through my brain in a second:

1: What a beautiful looking Cat that is 🐱
2: Who's Cat is this? Never seen it before 🐱
3: Harry's about to rip my arm off me, he's going to dive towards this poor animal!

And at that moment as we were locked eyes, the funniest thing happened (in my head), the "Cat" spread it's wings and flew off into the trees! Much to my own amusement, it wasn't a Cat but a Kite in all it's beauty and glory! 🦅🦅🦅

That evening we sat laughing on the sofa as I told my story of the "Cat"! My husband and I laughed a lot! 😆😆😆😆😂😂😂😂

We wanted to share with you one of our favourite beaches close to @parkhallwales. This is Penbryn Beach, we've been sat on the sand whilst Dolphins swam past in the recent past at this stunning location. The perfect spot for picnics, sunbathing and swimming - perfect for the lazy day!
